If you want to you can make a day of this park you can be more adventurous and carry on walking along the Medway Valley Walk.

Moat Park is an award winning green space in the centre of Maidstone it covers 450 acres this includes a mixture of Woodland walks, Rivers, and grassland.

The new Mote Park play area is now open and has a big outdoor adventure play centre which opened in May 2019.

Mote Park is one of the most popular places to visit in Maidstone.

Manor Park is set within 57 acres of land – this was once part of the 18th century estate owned by Thomas Douce.

A family destination day out.

The park is divided into 4 sections:

The Douce meadow is an open grassland where you will find the play area along with picnic tables.

The lake is great for wildlife the likes of Swans, dabchicks can be seen here.

The Ice House Field – this is on the far side of the lake, the name comes from the structure used to store ice cream taken from the lake over the winter.

The Abbey Field and Chestnut Paddocks are grazed fields with lots of beautiful wild flowers in the summer months.
